MATERIAL
MATERIAL
Pjama Pants are made of a breathable material and simultaneously inhibit the penetration of liquid. They are as nice as wearing any other pyjama pants, while keeping moisture from the bed.
Pjama Original Pants protects sheets, duvets and mattresses.
Pjama is made of soft tencel, a breathable waterproof membrane and a super-absorbent material that makes urine stay in the pants. All fabrics are Oeko-Tex certified.
PJAMA IS MADE OF:
Hydrophobic material at waist and ankles/knee folds, super-absorbent material in critical areas.
- An outer waterproof and soft layer that breathes very well.
- An inner material that is soft and smooth on the inside. The material can absorb fluid and is made with capillary breaking properties.
In other words, Pjama is a super awesome way for both children and adults to keep the bed dry at night. And to look great while wearing them.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
Pjama is a washable, and reusable product that is easy to use. For the longest life of the product please follow these guidelines:
Turn Pjama inside out so that the waterproof membrane does not keep the liquid inside the shorts and pants.
Rinse out the Pjama before washing and make sure to wash it as soon as possible.
Wash with garments with similar colours.
Do not wash your Pjama with sharp objects. For example, zippers, bras or other metals.
Wash at a maximum temperature of 60°C.
Finish the washing programme at high spin speed cycle. If your washing machine does not have a high spin speed cycle you might need to spin and drain one more time.
Do not dry clean, use fabric softener or iron the product.
The unique features of the Pjama leads to a longer drying time of the product in comparison with other textile garments.
DRYING YOUR PJAMA
DRYING YOUR PJAMA
Pjama contains an absorbent material which affects the drying time. How long it takes depends on several factors including humidity, the temperature in the room and the efficiency of the washing machine’s high spin speed.
To keep the drying time as short as possible it is good to:
Dry Pjama’s inside out, either outdoors or at room temperature. It is also possible to tumble dry Pjama.
If you use a tumble dryer make sure the temperature does not exceed 60°C.
In humid climates it can take 1-2 days for Pjama to line dry.
Depending on your dryer Pjama might not feel completely dry when taking it out of the dryer.
Hang it on the line for an hour and it should feel dry.

These are fantastic, the only reusable discreet pants that have ever held all of my son’s overnight accidents. Does take days to dry, but having a couple would be the best way to have them.
I like that the pants held the liquid through the night. I am stilling waiting for the pant to dry after 5 days on the washing line. It’s not humid l, it’s been sunny. I washed in the washing machine, so spin cycle included. Now I have put them in the dryer, which I was trying to avoid for longer lasting durability. Bought them as an option for camping, realise this will not work. My son is resistant to wearing pull-ups for the fact that he associates with wearing a nappy and doesn’t want to feel like that… he likes the Pjama bed wetting pants. So great in theory.
We have had mixed success, but he still leaks out of the shorts, whole bed gets wet. Have followed all the instructions and recommendations and am at a loss to know what else we could possibly use. Thought this was my solution, in theory a great product but not in practice.
Just some background on my son who I bought the pants for. He is 9 year old, ASD level 1 with ADHD and ODD, no intellectual disability. He is in a mainstream school with support. He took a long time to toilet train and has had encoporesis (severe constipation resulting to damage to bowel) since he was 3 which impacts his night time accidents. He likes the pants and tends to choose to wear them when they are not in the wash. I've sent them to scout camp and he recently flew in them. I like that they don't look like pyjamas so he can wear them through the airport etc. My son is very fussy about fabrics and he likes these pants which is a huge plus. In the UK, he wore both the shorts and pants, they both seemed to suit the UK Summer. Unfortunately on the way back, he vomited all over the pants then, on the second leg when he wasn't wearing them, wet himself. I would have been more inclined to carry another pair with me if they weren't as bulky and the plane is a bit chilly for the shorts so didn't have them in the hand luggage. The only major downside to the pants are how long they take to dry once washed. I've taken them on a trip to QLD when he wet almost every night then took a couple of days to dry on the line. I found that I had to check if they were dry all the way through, not just touch dry on the surface, because one night they weren't thoroughly dry and he wet straight through them.
It went AWESOME. The pants worked perfectly and my daughter came back all smiles because no one had even noticed she was wearing them. Camp was causing her so much anxiety, and she came back full of confidence and looking forward to the next camping trip. Thank you so much. It has meant so so much to her. Also, I’ve found laundering them to be fairly easy too. I’ve line dried and then popped in the dryer for an air dry cycle and it’s worked perfectly.
Who Are Pjama Blue For
Pjama is a unique product for both children and adults who suffer from bedwetting. It is a pyjama that protects the bed and mattress when an accident happens. The urine is absorbed by the pants, keeping the bed dry. They are discreet and look just like regular pyjama pants, which makes them perfect for sleepovers. No one but the wearer will know if an accident happens.
Pjama can be re-washed again and again, and they are an environmentally friendly alternative to other disposable products available on the market.
